Hold on, what just happened to the title for this month’s Small Business Deals: September 2023 Edition post?

Unlike the post like this one, it’s back to its usual title, with no specific focus on the title whatsoever.

Here’s the thing about having a specific theme for the Small Business Deal posts.

While it does help me with compiling the deals into one post easier, I have a hard time adding deals that have nothing to do with the post’s current theme.

Sure, I can always talk about the deal and make it a part of the theme for the next month’s post.

But if you’ve been keeping track of all the deals that I posted here, you’ll notice how short-lived many of them are.

That is as far as the nature of the deal is concerned.

Another reason why I no longer want to write the deal post with a specific theme? The post title looks horrendous because of how long the title is.

Sure, I can always try to come up with something short and quirky while still conveying what the main theme is.

But it can still look long no matter how many times I try.

Rather than having to do the same thing that makes my head spin, I decided to forgo the concept altogether and revert to the usual Small Business Deals post.

With that said, let’s take a look at all the deals that you don’t want to miss this month.

If you’re an author who is based in Europe, I’m sure that many of you would prefer to use a hosting that caters to the European region.

A note about getting a hosting plan and domain name

I know I sound like a broken record here. But it’s worth mentioning to you again that it’s important to get a domain name and hosting separately as opposed to getting everything in one place.

You’ll risk something like a hostile takeover on your website if someone gets a hold of your account.

Of course, this kind of scenario is unlikely to happen considering how secure Namecheap is.

But I don’t see anything wrong with being vigilant especially if it can have a significant impact on your author business.

So, what you should do if you don’t want something like a hostile takeover to happen to you?

The answer to that question is to get your domain name and hosting plan separately, of course.
