There’s no reason for you to work on your 2023 goals when you only have less than two months to make it happen.
If that’s what you’re thinking right now, I will say hold your thoughts about that.
Yes, you’re not wrong to believe you may not make it when the goal may take more than two months to achieve.
But rather than pushing it to 2024, why don’t you start pursuing them now instead?
Break it down into a few milestones and determine which ones you can achieve before the year ends.
You can continue pursuing the rest of the milestone in 2024. That’s one goal down for you.
And if you need help in pursuing your goals, take a look at this month’s Small Business Deals: November 2023 Edition for more amazing deals that you don’t want to miss.
WP Engine plan that is perfect for those who are just starting out
You probably hear me talking a lot about the importance of having reliable hosting for your author website.
While it’s no secret that I recommend people to use SetraHost since it’s the web hosting that I’m currently using, I also recommend people to have a look at WP Engine.
The reason why I recommend people to have a look at WP Engine is that it’s specifically for hosting a WordPress site, especially for the WooCommerce site.
But here’s the problem with WP Engine – it can be a little tad too much when you’re just starting out.
And let’s not forget it’s on the pricier side too considering it has more advanced features than your typical shared web hosting.
Well, here’s the good news for you.
WP Engine has launched a new plan called the Lite plan. It’s perfect for one website that has less than 5,000 visitors per month.
And the best part of all? It only costs you $150 per year. That’s around $13 per month.
Thinking about getting started with using WP Engine? You can sign up for the Lite plan right here:
Sign up for the WP Engine Lite plan
Just to let you know you can only sign up with a lite plan through this link. You won’t find the link to sign up with the Lite plan on their website.
My thoughts about the Lite plan
On the surface, you may find the Lite plan is inferior to the Startup plan since the Startup plan can cater to a website that has up to 25,000 visitors per month.
Yes, it sure is a huge saving when you can save $90 if you opt for the Lite plan.
But it can feel like it’s not worth the saving when you get a tiny fraction of what the Startup plan has to offer.
And that leads us to this question – should you opt for the Startup plan instead when you’re just starting out?
Believe it or not, I don’t recommend you to sign up for the Startup plan since it’s more for those who already have a website that is already receiving traffic.
Of course, you can opt for the Startup plan if you have the budget for it.
But if you don’t, then it doesn’t hurt to opt for the Lite plan since it’s perfect for someone who never had a website of any kind before.
Keep in mind you can always upgrade to a different plan once you already outgrow your initial plan.
So, don’t miss my Small Business Deals post for any special offers from WP Engine.
The good thing about WP Engine offers is that they’re not just applicable to new customers, but existing customers too.
And if WP Engine is still out of budget for you, consider signing up for SetraHost instead.
